👋 Welcome — A Quick Introduction

 Hello, and welcome to my blog! This is my first post, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share what I’ll be writing about here. My research sits at the intersection of law, finance, and trust . I’m particularly interested in how legal structures—like contracts, enforcement mechanisms, and institutional design—shape pricing, risk, and behavior in financial markets, especially in the world of debt . I work with complex, often messy public data: bond covenants, trust agreements, court records, regulatory disclosures—you name it. Using empirical methods, I try to uncover the subtle ways that legal opacity , asymmetric information , and strategic enforcement create friction in how markets operate. This blog is where I’ll occasionally unpack parts of that work in a more informal, accessible way.
